Bbang Ssabu

Bbang Ssabu is a Chinese restaurant located near Exit 4 of Hanseong Baekje Station on Subway Line 9, at 498 Baekjegobun-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul. The spacious interior offers window-side seating with a city view, as well as private partitioned seats and group seating. Signature menu items include fried eggplant, Bbang Ssabu jjamppong, and mild jjamppong. Kimchi and danmuji are provided as basic side dishes on the table. The jjamppong is made with a broth simmered from Korean beef leg bones, resulting in a rich yet clean soup with plenty of seafood. The fried eggplant, a good side dish, is crispy with a slight mala flavor. Nearby, Olympic Park is available for a light walk.
