Why travelers stop here
Established in 1974, this restaurant has maintained its original Pyongyang naengmyeon recipe to this day. Its signature dishes include Pyongyang mul-naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles in chilled broth) featuring chewy yet tender noodles, a rich broth made by simmering brisket for a long time, and a savory seasoning enhanced with dongchimi (radish water kimchi) juice; green bean pancakes made from freshly ground mung beans; and traditional bulgogi. Other popular menu items include eobok jeongban (a platter of various Korean dishes), mandu jeongol (dumpling hot pot), galbi-tang (short rib soup), and seolleong-tang (ox bone soup). With a lunch special menu and spacious group seating, it is also an ideal venue for various gatherings. Recognized by the local community, the restaurant has received commendations from the Korea Restaurant Association, Eunpyeong-gu Office, and the Seoul Welfare Foundation.
