Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
Minmeoru Beach is a beach located on Seokmodo Island, a small island attached to the west sea of Ganghwado Island. It features a sandy beach approximately 1 km in length, where visitors can enjoy swimming and the beautiful sunset over the West Sea, as well as tidal flat experiences. When the tide goes out, a tidal flat about 1 km wide appears. You can walk barefoot on the tidal flat and fully enjoy the soft texture of the mud, and observe creatures living in the tidal flat such as clams and crabs. While you can enter the tidal flat barefoot, it is advisable to prepare boots or extra shoes in advance to avoid injuring your feet. Additionally, the natural environment is almost perfectly preserved, and the surrounding scenery is renowned for its outstanding beauty, making it a well-known filming location for photographers.
