Why travelers stop here
Located in Gocheon-ri, Naega-myeon, Ganghwa-gun, this is a fishing spot. Sinseon Fishing Spot is a family-themed fishing ground with a water surface area of 9,000 pyeong, surrounded by mountains on three sides, reducing the impact of wind. It receives clean water from the Hyeolgusan Mountain valley, which is free from pollution and home to crayfish, keeping the water pristine.
Basic amenities such as a shop, restaurant, water supply, and restrooms are available, and bungalows and a campsite are operated for comfortable late-night fishing. Sunshades and simple tents are installed on the platforms, allowing fishing without discomfort even in rainy or hot weather. There are many historical sites nearby, making it a great place for family outings. The entrance to Goryeoji is 3km south of Oepo Ferry, and there is also an entrance to Bomunsa Temple, one of Korea's three major temples.
