Why travelers stop here
Utdari Culture Village, a cultural and artistic experience center that began in August 2006, was renovated by Pyeongtaek City and the Pyeongtaek Cultural Center from the closed Geumgak Branch School of Seotan Elementary School into a cultural and artistic experience space. It permanently exhibits old classrooms from the 1960s to 1980s that evoke nostalgia for elementary school, as well as the outdoor Utdari Stationery Store. The 'Visiting Experience Learning' program at Utdari Culture Village, where cultural artists and program instructors run various programs such as pottery, traditional experiences, crafts, and nongak, is a cultural and arts education that enhances cultural achievement and expands understanding and experience of art through diverse cultural and artistic programs that allow experiencing both tradition and modernity. It is open to all age groups from children to adults, provides opportunities to directly experience cultural arts and find connections between art and daily life, and strives to help participants share various emotions and experiences while gaining a deeper understanding of art and culture.
