Yongmunsan Traditional Food Village

Located within the Yongmunsan Tourist Complex, Yongmunsan Traditional Food Village is situated at the entrance before arriving at Yongmunsa Temple. The village of Sinjeom-ri, where Yongmunsan Traditional Village is located, is surrounded by mountains, and the Yongmuncheon Stream flows north-south through the area. In 1914, as part of administrative district consolidation, parts of Ongjeom-ri, Sinchon-ri, and Jojwa-ri were merged to form Sinjeom-ri, which was incorporated into Yongmun-myeon. Yongmunsan Traditional Food Village operates about 20 restaurants, offering various Korean dishes such as deodeok bulgogi (deodeok grilled beef), ssambap (rice wrapped in leaves), sanchae namul bibimbap (mixed rice with wild greens), pajeon (green onion pancake), dotorimuk (acorn jelly), and deodeok gui (grilled deodeok), as well as a coffee shop. The paid parking lot across the street is spacious and not crowded even on weekends. Nearby attractions include Yongmunsa Temple, Jeongjiguksa Budobi Stele, the Eco-Friendly Agriculture Museum, and the Memories of Youth Museum, as well as a camping ground and pension complex.
