* Paju Jangdan Kong Well-Being Maru is a new-concept agricultural convergence complex where production, processing, distribution, and sales of Paju's specialty Jangdan beans are combined with experience, tourism, and culture. - Located within the Tongil Donggwan Tourist Zone, surrounded by clean nature with mountains and rivers nearby, it is a healing space where the view of over 2,000 jars of fermented soybean paste (jang) aging brings peace to the viewer's mind. - It is a complex platform offering diversity with a hygienically managed and produced meju (fermented soybean block) and sauce manufacturing facility, a local food store where visitors can closely see agricultural products grown with the care of Paju farmers, a bean cuisine specialty restaurant <Haesmillae The Table> that implements fine dining, <Haesmillae Cafe> that presents special desserts made with Paju agricultural products and seasonal fruits such as Jangdan bean gelato and red ginseng milk tea, and a cooking experience room accessible to all ages. - In 2022, the first 500 units of jar lots were sold out early, and new and unique experience combination products such as <Paju Jangdan Kong, Walking on the Jars>, selected as a convergence content by Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, are gaining attention and becoming a hot topic.

* Establishment of a local food system that reduces carbon emissions and supports local farms - A local food store practicing local production for local consumption is in operation, and the specialty restaurant <Haesmillae The Table> uses local food including Paju Jangdan bean tofu as main ingredients. * Refill station corner within the local food store practicing zero waste - For the first time in South Korea, a zero-waste refill station corner is operated within the local food store, selling Paju rice, Paju Jangdan beans, eco-friendly detergents, etc. Additionally, instead of using disposable plastic bags, eco-bags and paper bags are sold to visiting customers for a small fee. * Self-supply of electricity using renewable solar energy - A portion of electricity is self-supplied through the installation of a 33kWh renewable solar energy facility. * Planning and implementation of eco-friendly walking and cycling tour-linked promotions - Events linked to the 4.2km walking trail (Sallae-gil) that connects to the Paju Jangdan Kong Well-Being Maru site are operated, and promotional events favoring eco-friendly travelers, such as beverage promotions for riders on the Imjingak Pyeonghwa Nuri-gil (bicycle path), are continuously planned and implemented. * Restriction of vehicle movement within the site and 100% use of non-motorized carts - Within the site (14,800 pyeong area) around the jar yard where jang is aging, general vehicle access is restricted for thorough hygiene management, and non-motorized electric carts are used to transport goods.
