Noseongsan

Noseongsan is a low hill with an elevation of 310m, forming the boundary between Seolseong-myeon, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do and Iljuk-myeon, Anseong-si. After exiting the Jungbu Expressway at Iljuk IC and heading toward Janghowon, you can see this gentle hill on the left. It appears to be just a neighborhood backyard mountain with no impressive rocks or ridges, but it actually features various奇特 rocks and strange stones such as Gulbawi (Cave Rock), Byeongpungbawi (Screen Rock), Malmeoribawi (Horse Head Rock), and Oetolbawi (Lonely Rock), and a citizens' park is also developed at the foot of the mountain. The starting point for the hike is the citizens' park parking lot in Geumdang-ri, Seolseong-myeon, Icheon-si to the north, and it takes about 2 hours including rest time to circle the mountain and return. The mountain's name is referred to as Nosongsan, Noseungsan, or Noseongsan, but the official administrative name is Noseongsan. The elevation is marked as 310m based on the summit marker and information board installed on site. As the first name suggests, this mountain has an abundance of pine trees. The citizens' park serves as the starting point for the hike, and the trails are well-maintained using wood and railroad ties. In addition to the various奇特 rocks and strange stones scattered throughout, spring water flows down through Byeongpungbawi and Byeongmokan rock crevices, providing drinking water. The view from the summit is unobstructed in all directions, and when you climb the viewpoint rock just below the summit, the views toward Wongyeongsa Temple and Geumdang Reservoir are exceptionally beautiful. It can be called a small Geumgangsan of Icheon and is suitable as a family-friendly recreational hiking destination.
