Icheon Doniul Village is a typical rural village located in Daewol-myeon, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, situated on the plain between Wonducheon and Yanghwacheon streams. Large reservoirs are located on the west and east sides of the village, and it is close to the West Sea on the west side. The name Doniul originated from the combination of 'Doni' from Sodonibong Peak and 'Ul,' forming Doniul. Known for its good water and generous people, the village boasts excellent soil quality and is famous for producing premium rice, representing the royal Icheon rice brand. It is located just 12 km from the center of Icheon-si, renowned for rice, ceramics, and hot springs, and is conveniently accessible within an hour from Seoul's Dong Seoul Bus Terminal.
