Why travelers stop here
Suwon City Manseok Exhibition Hall (formerly Suwon Art Exhibition Hall) was originally designed and built in 1999 as a 'Recycled Products Exhibition Hall' modeled after Hwaseong Fortress. However, to promote the cultural and artistic development of the Suwon area, it was repurposed and reborn as 'Suwon City Manseok Exhibition Hall,' a cultural and artistic space where all citizens can comfortably and leisurely enjoy themselves. To revitalize artistic activities, it serves as a central hub for Suwon's art culture through various contemporary art exhibitions and curated exhibitions that generate art discourse. It leads the local art culture by operating rental services, expanding exhibition research infrastructure, and conducting educational and promotional projects. Located in Manseok Park in Songjuk-dong, Jangan-gu, close to downtown Suwon, it harmonizes with the surrounding park greenery and beautiful lake as a resting space, and the view of Gwanggyo Mountain creates an exquisite blend with the natural environment. Nearby, there are children's libraries, indoor badminton courts, soccer fields, walking trails, parking lots, and other sports and convenience facilities.
