Located near Manan-gu Office, Anyang Art Center was established to enhance the leisure and cultural life of Anyang citizens. It opened in December 1989 as Anyang Literary Hall, underwent a large-scale remodeling, changed its name to Anyang Art Center, and reopened in May 2010. It is operated by the Anyang Culture and Arts Foundation. Built with one basement floor and two above-ground floors, Anyang Art Center is a multi-purpose cultural space equipped with three performance halls—Gwanak Hall (large performance hall), Suri Hall (small performance hall), and an outdoor performance hall—as well as Gallery Midam and a Convention Hall. The first-floor lobby features convenience facilities such as a Service Plaza and Cafe Brahms. Gwanak Hall is a two-story proscenium-type large performance hall that can accommodate 1,126 people (including 13 seats for the disabled), with an 828㎡ stage and six dressing rooms, suitable for large-scale performances such as concerts, orchestras, and musicals. Suri Hall is a proscenium-type small performance hall with a capacity of 382 people (including 4 seats for the disabled), featuring a 240㎡ stage and two dressing rooms, capable of hosting various performances such as plays, chamber music, and recitals. Gallery Midam is a space for exhibiting works such as paintings, photographs, calligraphy, sculptures, and installation art, designed with rail-type moving partitions for flexible spatial arrangement. The Convention Hall is a multi-purpose space for symposiums, seminars, ceremonies, and education, with three practice rooms as auxiliary facilities. Based on these facilities, Anyang Art Center regularly hosts various cultural events, film screenings, performances, concerts, and exhibitions. It takes about 8 minutes by car from Sanbon IC and about 10 minutes on foot from Myeonghak Station on Line 1. Nearby attractions include Gwanaksan Mountain, Cheonggyesan Mountain, Gwanggyosan Mountain, Anyang Art Park, Anyang Museum, Kim Chung-up Architecture Museum, Pyeongchon Central Park, Seoul Land, Seoul Grand Park, Let's Run Park Seoul, Gwangmyeong Cave, and Gwangmyeong Edison Museum.
