Seongnam-si Bundang Library, opened in 1999, is the oldest library operated by Seongnam City, striving for sound reading culture and regional cultural development. The library consists of one basement floor and five above-ground floors, featuring a reading room for the disabled, a children's family reading room, Everyone's Library, cultural classrooms, and a literature information room. Next to the 4th-floor reading room, there is a Sky Park for relaxation. Cultural programs at Bundang Library include cultural classes and reading groups. Cultural class offerings include Korean history learned outside the classroom, facing classics, playing with books, and reading discussion and debate. Reading groups are conducted for elementary and middle school students. Additionally, library events include reading classes, children's puppet shows, and storytelling sessions, which are cultural education programs for library use and fostering a reading lifestyle.
