Chunghyeon Museum

Chunghyeon Museum is the only head family museum in Korea, established by the head family of Yi Won-ik. It was founded with a sense of mission by the direct descendants of Yi Won-ik to preserve the relics of their ancestors and to inherit and protect the scholar culture of the Joseon Dynasty. The museum displays materials related to Yi Won-ik, including his portrait and handwritten works, as well as ritual vessels and folk life items used by the head family, and various materials from noble families ranging from artifacts over 400 years old to modern times.
