Bucheon Simgok Library

Bucheon Simgok Library, opened in 1985 as Bucheon's first library, has a total floor area of 2,450㎡ and is four stories high. The library reopened in September 2025 after remodeling, with main facilities including a children's materials room, general materials room, electronic information corner, book cafe, and the Sosa Youth Space 'Sosaroum'. Bucheon Simgok Library is a history-specialized library featuring the 'An Jung-geun Special Materials Corner', and includes a media creation room and the Sosa Youth Space 'Sosaroum' as themed spaces. In particular, the Sosa Youth Space 'Sosaroum' consists of a youth digital printing lab, interview room, open learning space, and club room, supporting youth employment, entrepreneurship, leisure, self-development programs, and community activation. Additionally, through remodeling, the library has opened a rooftop rest area where visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Bucheon city while relaxing.
