Gallery Parkyoung

Gallery Parkyoung is the first gallery in the Paju Publishing Complex, opened in 2008. The name Parkyoung (博英) means 'to nurture talent broadly,' reflecting the founder's corporate philosophy. The Paju Publishing Complex was formed as an art and culture special zone where various cultural contents based on books—such as art, music, architecture, education, furniture, and entertainment—are gathered. The fact that over 300 artists have gathered here is also a result of the beginning of Gallery Parkyoung, which was opened by Parkyoungsa to support artists. The artist support program, which was originally an artist residency program, now continues under the name 'Parkyoung The Shift' through annual competitions, holding exhibitions with artists from various genres and introducing convergent works with Parkyoung artists. Gallery Parkyoung is a gallery that has been communicating with the public through substantial exhibitions, including curated exhibitions with representative Korean artists who have built relationships through art collection for over 30 years, and the Parkyoung Collection Exhibition, striving to expand the base of art culture.
