Why travelers stop here
Pulzip Craft Museum is a museum that collects, researches, exhibits, and educates folk life tools and crafts made from grass and straw. The craft technique of using grass and straw to create life tools, which has been passed down orally since ancient agricultural societies, was a concern for founder and director Jeon Seong-im. To systematically organize the field of grass and straw crafts, she traveled across the country to find master artisans, learned their techniques, and studied the characteristics of materials and their geographical connections. In today's rapidly disappearing traditional cultural heritage, this museum aims to ensure that grass and straw crafts are no longer forgotten relics of the past, but are recognized as our cultural heritage with educational, environmental, and artistic value. As a place of education that inherits the traditional value of grass and straw crafts, the museum continues research and educational activities to develop into a creative craft art field that connects the past to the present and future.
