Why travelers stop here
Located at the entrance of Deokpojin in Gimpo-si, the Living History Museum Grandmother's Kitchen is a museum that exhibits artifacts related to dietary life from the daily lives of our grandmothers and mothers. On the first floor exhibition hall, you can see various cooking tools and household items such as earthenware. On the second floor experience room, cooking classes and various cultural events are held. You can check and apply for ongoing programs through the official blog. The third floor is a greenhouse-like space where you can comfortably share tea and chat. With over 20,000 collected items gathered over 30 years, it is quite a large scale for an individual endeavor. The outdoor garden, perfect for a walk after a meal, is also filled with various flowering trees and plants, as if touched by a grandmother's hand. Nearby, there is the Deokpojin Education Museum, where you can reminisce about the old days with the sound of a harmonium, and Deokpojin, the site of the fierce battles of the Shinmiyangyo and Byeonginyangyo, making it a great place to explore together.
