Art Center White Block

Art Center White Block is a private art museum located at the Reed Plaza in the center of Heyri Art Village in Paju-si. Heyri Art Village is a village where each building is constructed like a work of art, with regulations limiting building height to three floors or less and construction materials to wood, concrete, and iron. The museum building itself was selected as a winner of the American Architecture Award in 2012, making it a stylish space on its own. The first floor houses a café and a store selling handicrafts and accessories, while the second and third floors are the art museum. Art Center White Block serves as a venue for artists to present their works, a platform for exchange and collaboration between art theorists and artists, and a space for art and cultural enjoyment for audiences of various ages visiting Heyri. The café is designed with a structure that allows natural communication between the interior and exterior, serving not only as a place to appreciate artworks but also as a space to enjoy relaxation.
