Uijeongbu Cultural Center

Uijeongbu Cultural Center is a place dedicated to preserving and developing the local culture, history, and regional heritage of Uijeongbu. It carries out projects such as the discovery and preservation of local historical materials, creative local cultural festivals, inter-regional cultural content exchange projects, cultural education projects, and projects to revitalize living culture and arts. Established on December 23, 1989, under the Local Cultural Center Promotion Act, Uijeongbu Cultural Center opened in 1990 at the Citizens' Hall and was newly relocated to its current location in 2003. The center is equipped with a local exhibition hall, lecture rooms, meeting rooms, a library, a literary theater that can accommodate 140 people, and an outdoor performance stage, and it operates various cultural events and educational programs.
