This exhibition hall introduces Ji Yeong-hee, the father of modern Korean traditional music born in Pyeongtaek, and showcases his achievements that led the popularization, modernization, and globalization of Korean traditional music. It is a comprehensive art venue that illuminates the artistic world of Ji Yeong-hee, who was a holder of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage No. 52 Sinawi skill, and also hosts performances. A large number of highly valuable and rare artifacts related to Korean traditional music are displayed, and the exhibition room is composed of sections on Ji Yeong-hee's life, achievements, later years, and Pungnyu stage. Additionally, there is a corner where music and videos can be enjoyed to learn about Pyeongtaek traditional arts such as Utdari Pyeongtaek Nongak and Pyeongtaek folk songs. Through the exhibition hall, visitors can feel that Pyeongtaek is the true home of Korean sound.
