Located near Calvin University, the Korean Museum of Art is a specialized private museum founded by Kim Yoon-soon (1931–2017). It exhibits contemporary artworks and operates the Korean Art Academy. The museum, covering a site area of 2,281㎡, consists of a main building with two floors and a new building with one floor, housing a total of five exhibition halls, lecture rooms, a hands-on learning room, a cafeteria, an art shop, and an outdoor exhibition area. In addition to permanent exhibitions, it regularly holds ambitious and distinctive special exhibitions. The collection includes approximately 140 pieces, such as paintings by Park Saeng-gwang, Kwon Jin-kyu, Lee Ufan, and Lee Sang-beom; monochromes by Christo and Robert Rauschenberg; prints by Rauschenberg; installations by Lee Sang-hyun; Joseon Dynasty folk paintings; ceramics by Yun Gwang-jong; tapestries by Lee Shin-ja; sculptures by Lee Jong-gak; photographs by Kwak Deok-jun; calligraphy by Kim Eung-hyeon; and crafts by Kim Seung-hee. It is about a 1-minute drive from Mabuk IC and about 8 minutes from Giheung Station on the Suin–Bundang Line, with a direct bus from the station. Nearby attractions include Gyeonggi Provincial Museum, Gyeonggi Children's Museum, Korean Folk Village, and Everland.
