Located within the Yongin Arpia Sports Complex, Poeun Art Hall opened in April 2004 to enhance the leisure and cultural life of Yongin citizens and is operated by the Yongin Cultural Foundation. The name Poeun Art Hall comes from the pen name of the scholar Jeong Mong-ju (Poeun), and it is a world-class performance venue equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. It has a total area of 13,826m², a stage area of 1,109m², and 1,258 seats, providing an environment that fully supports performances, comfortable seating for viewing, and a resting space for citizens. It is a cultural experience venue where one can enjoy high-quality performances. It takes about 17 minutes by car from Pangyo IC and about 5 minutes (345m) on foot from Jukjeon Station (Dankook University) on the Suin-Bundang Line. Nearby attractions include Everland, Korean Folk Village, Korea Job World, UNESCO World Heritage Site Yungneung and Geolleung, Mulhyanggi Arboretum, Yongin Rural Theme Park, and Deokpyeong Dinosaur Arboretum.
