Why travelers stop here
Byeokbong Korean Jewelry Museum is a Type 1 specialized museum established in 2014 by Intangible Heritage to promote the dignity and refinement of Korean traditional culture. It exhibits works related to traditional Korean jewelry and jade crafts used by the royal court and noble families in ancient times. Most of the museum's collections are works by Master Kim Young-hee, a National Intangible Heritage jade artisan, primarily consisting of restored and reproduced pieces of court jewelry used during the Joseon Dynasty, as well as modern creative works applying traditional patterns. Leveraging these characteristics, the museum aims to enhance familiarity with traditional culture through efforts to share and universalize the value of cultural heritage and traditional techniques.
