The Semiwon Lotus Museum is a museum that opened in January 2009, exhibiting collections of artifacts related to lotus flowers, including daily necessities and old documents related to food, all under the single theme of the lotus. The permanent exhibition on the second floor of the museum provides a comprehensive look at the history and culture of lotus flowers, including the origin and history of the lotus, types of lotus patterns and their characteristics by era, and the meaning of the lotus in Buddhism, as well as related artifacts. The third floor is a rental exhibition space that holds different special exhibitions depending on the period. It is located about 2 minutes by car and about 11 minutes on foot from Yangsu Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line, and there are also buses from the subway station to the vicinity, making it easily accessible by public transportation. Nearby attractions include Dumulmeori, Caffeino, Water Garden, Jeong Yak-yong Historic Site, and the Silhak Museum.
