Yangpyeong County Museum of Art

Opened in 2011, the Yangpyeong County Museum of Art has been running various programs, high-quality contemporary art planning, and creative education programs. Built on a site of 8,069㎡ in Yanggeun-ri, Yangpyeong-eup, with a building area of 4,184㎡, the museum has three floors above ground and one basement level. It is equipped not only with exhibition halls but also educational facilities, a conference room, a library, a kids' room, a seminar room, and a café. It operates educational programs for children, teenagers, and adults, and holds academic seminars and cultural events with different themes each year. Securing hands-on experience spaces and planning themed exhibitions have played a significant role in establishing Yangpyeong as a cultural tourism brand. It is located a 14-minute walk from Yangpyeong Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line, and there is an Insect Museum nearby.
