Ansan Global Culture Experience Center

Ansan Global Culture Experience Center is located in Ansan Multicultural Village Special Zone, a representative multicultural village in Korea. It opened as a multicultural understanding education center to create a society where Koreans and foreigners live together. It displays over 1,400 items including musical instruments, dolls, food, costumes, masks, and architectural models collected from more than 50 countries, allowing visitors to experience the traditional cultures of each country through the exhibits. Inside the exhibition hall, various traditional sculptures that one would want to bring back as souvenirs from abroad and currencies of various countries in different sizes and shapes are displayed. In front of the world map on the wall, there are architectural models representing each country, dolls wearing traditional costumes, and musical instruments. There are masks from around the world including Korea's Hahoe mask, tin teapots, terracotta warriors, and armor-like old items, as well as traditional musical instruments from Indonesia and Africa. A few steps down from the exhibition hall, there are over 250 costumes and accessories including British guards' uniforms, Uzbek traditional wedding attire, and costumes from China, Japan, Vietnam, Russia, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Uzbekistan, which visitors can try on and experience.
