Suwon Citizens' Hall was built in April 1962 under the name 'Citizens' Hall' and is Suwon's first multi-cultural space responsible for the cultural life of Suwon citizens. On April 12, 1971, it was newly constructed on Paldal Mountain in its current form as a building with one basement floor and three above-ground floors, establishing itself as a new cultural space with various facilities. It is a venue for cultural and artistic performances, lectures, academic research meetings, and various events for citizens, and also contributes to providing opportunities for citizens to participate in competitions such as speech contests and piano competitions for Suwon citizens and Gyeonggi Province residents. Suwon Citizens' Hall collaborates with central cultural and artistic organizations to host high-quality performances, making it an ideal place for cultural activities.
