Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Central Library

Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Central Library, opened in 1970 as the first public library in Gyeonggi Province, has served as a regional hub for information, education, and culture. As a library under the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, it provides specialized services supporting the educational growth of the educational community. For social education projects, it operates a cultural school for adults and after-school programs for elementary school students. The cultural school offers courses in Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean painting, and children's reading guidance, while the after-school programs include history essay writing, reading, creativity, and Korean painting classes. The annex houses a children's library, and the library holds approximately 240,000 volumes, serving as an educational library that greatly assists kindergarten, elementary, middle, and high school students with their career and academic paths.
