Suwon Yeongtong Library

Suwon City operates a total of 20 libraries, including 3 children's libraries, so that all citizens can use libraries close to their homes. One of them, Suwon Yeongtong Library, opened in 1999 and underwent remodeling to achieve its current form. Yeongtong Library is divided into the main building and an annex. The main building houses a children's materials room, general materials room, multicultural materials room, digital materials room, and general reading room, while the annex has a seminar room and meeting room. As a library specializing in world culture, its most distinctive feature is collecting foreign books (foreign publications) to build specialized materials and operating a foreign book corner within the general materials room on the second floor.
