Micro Science Museum is the first microscope-specialized science museum in Korea, operated by the 21st Century Life Science Culture Foundation, a non-profit foundation approved by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology. At the Micro Science Museum, visitors can experience the history and structure of various micro-science instruments, including electron microscopes and microscopes from 200 years ago, as well as observation, the secrets of microfibers and currency, skin and the human body, animals, plants, insects, and other invisible worlds. Based on experiments and explanations by professional docents, regular science programs are held year-round, with special vacation lectures in summer and winter, allowing systematic and fun learning and play for children from preschoolers to middle school students. In particular, it provides opportunities to grow into 21st-century convergent talents through STEAM learning methods that cannot be done in schools for content covered in the curriculum.
