Why travelers stop here
KINTEX is the largest international exhibition and convention center in South Korea. It opened on April 29, 2005, and its biggest feature is that it facilitates the hosting of large heavy-weight exhibitions and events that were difficult to accommodate in existing domestic exhibition halls. As an international exhibition hall jointly invested by Gyeonggi Province, Goyang City, and KOTRA, it contributes to economic revitalization, job creation, and community development. In particular, through the establishment of a close cooperative system with the government, it strives to foster the exhibition support industry, attract high-tech exhibition technology-based industries, and improve local cultural tourism conditions through citizen participation, thereby contributing to the development of South Korea's MICE industry.
