Located in Wabu-eup, Namyangju-si, the Namyangju City Museum was established to preserve the history and culture of Namyangju and opened in April 2010. It is equipped with a permanent exhibition hall, a special exhibition hall, and an education room. Outside, visitors can find an outdoor performance hall and stone artifacts. The permanent exhibition hall displays various artifacts from the Paleolithic period excavated in Namyangju-si to folk artifacts from the Joseon Dynasty and modern times, while the special exhibition hall presents a variety of exhibitions with new themes each year.
