Yeari Museum

Yeari Museum consists of the World Culture Hall, Korean Culture Hall, Cultural Products Hall, Special Exhibition Hall, and Outdoor Exhibition Hall, displaying about 300 artifacts related to funeral and memorial rites from East and West. The exhibits are periodically replaced to preserve the condition of the artifacts. In the World Culture Hall, Asian and European funeral cultures such as celestial burial and catacombs are vividly recreated. In the Korean Culture Hall, the miniature recreation of the Royal Funeral Procession Chart of King Jeongdo, the 22nd king of Joseon, based on thorough historical research, allows visitors to experience the majestic royal funeral procession of the Joseon Dynasty. The Special Exhibition Hall displays various shaped coffins from Ghana, Africa, as well as ritual artifacts from various tribes.
