Yangpyeong Icefish and Trout Festival

Yangpyeong Sumi Village is a rural experience and recreation village located in clean water-rich Yangpyeong. It is a representative experience village in South Korea, selected as the top village in the rural tourism rating evaluation, ranking first in all categories of experience, accommodation, and food. In 2013, it received the Presidential Award at the "Korea Rural Village Awards," and with the theme of green rural experiences, rural experiences are held 365 days a year. The experiences utilize the village's crops and beautiful natural environment, offering exciting programs tailored to each season. This winter, the Yangpyeong Icefish and Trout Festival is being held, focusing on icefish and trout experiences. The festival site includes icefish scooping, trout bare-hand catching, as well as icefish and trout fishing areas. Additionally, there are hands-on activities such as making pizza, steamed buns, succulents, and enjoying ATV rides across the wide fields.
