Anyang Dance Festival

<Anyang Dance Festival – ANYANG DANCE FESTIVAL> will be held for three days from September 26 to 28 at Anyang Pyeongchon Central Park and Samdeok Park. First opened in 2000, the Anyang Citizens' Festival has been with citizens for 23 years, attracting over 300,000 visitors annually, and has established itself as a representative tourism festival of Gyeonggi Province beyond being a representative festival of Anyang City. As a representative citizen-participatory festival created, participated in, and watched by citizens, it contributes to forming a local artist community and fostering a citizen culture community under the themes of citizens, people, and citizens' living arts content. Under the slogan 'Walk, Run, and Dance!' to give the perception that walking and running are also 'dance' in a broad sense of freely moving the body, it encourages the discovery of potential movements and passion for dance hidden throughout Anyang, allowing citizen artists to fully display their energy and dynamism. Furthermore, it aims to become the only region-based K-Dance cultural arts festival in Korea where Anyang citizens participating in the festival and visitors to Anyang can create a culture of 'dancing together' within the space of Anyang and unite through 'dance' and 'culture and arts'.
