The Sosa Peach Festival is a representative summer festival of Bucheon, established as a long-standing tradition and symbol of Sosa-gu, Bucheon-si. It is an event held annually with the theme of peaches, remembering the roots of 'Boksagol' (Peach Valley). In addition, the 1st Sosa Peach Festival was held on July 31, 1999, and this year marks the 24th Sosa Peach Festival, a pride of Songnae 1-dong visited by over 1,000 citizens each year. The eve of the festival features an outdoor movie screening (Open Cinema), while the main event includes youth performances, resident autonomy program performances, an opening ceremony, and a citizen singing contest. Also, as ongoing programs, various experience booths and food are available.
