Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
This is a public golf course with significantly improved accessibility from Seoul due to the opening of the Pocheon Expressway. It is located 38km from the Han River and 8km from the Uijeongbu border. It is an 18-hole public golf course spanning approximately 1,850,000㎡ (560,000 pyeong) at an elevation of 300-400m below the southern foot of Haeryongsan Mountain (800m above sea level). The course was built preserving the natural landscape of large pine and oak trees, allowing for a round in the wide-open nature with a panoramic view of Pocheon city. It consists of the Queens Course, which is beautiful but has many bunkers, and the Valley Course, which has a large hazard in the middle, advantageous for long hitters. Although it is a public course, it offers facilities comparable to a membership club. It was designed by David Dale of Golfplan, the world's top design company from the United States, and sculptor Ellen.
