Gochogol Fishing Spot

Gochogol Fishing Spot is a dedicated bottom fishing spot located at Hakil 1 Reservoir near Yongin Rural Theme Park. It offers various seating options including open fishing areas, pier seats, 1- and 2-person pier-type seats, and a total of 24 bungalow-type水上 seats. The水上 seats come in options from 2-person to 6-person capacities, and are well-known for their excellent facilities, making them popular among anglers. The fishing spot features species such as crucian carp, common carp, and leather carp, and occasionally releases large quantities of crucian carp to manage the catch. In winter when the entire reservoir freezes, ice fishing and sledding are available, making it an ideal family outing spot. The shop sells only simple beverages and supplies, and does not operate a restaurant; however, if you contact an external restaurant, they will deliver to all seating and open areas. It takes about 20 minutes by car from Yangji IC. Nearby attractions include Everland, Korean Folk Village, UNESCO World Heritage sites Hwaseong Fortress and Yungneung and Geolleung, Deokpyeong Dinosaur Arboretum, Starlight Garden Ouju, and Hantaek Botanical Garden.
