Park golf is a compound word of park and golf. While regular golf uses 14 clubs, park golf uses only one club that is 86cm or shorter. With simple equipment, easy rules, and soft balls, anyone regardless of age or gender can enjoy it. There are about 30 park golf courses nationwide, and Yangpyeong Park Golf Course is the largest in Korea with 81 holes. A separate park golf course for the disabled is also in operation. It consists of 36 holes in the first course, 27 holes in the second course, and 18 holes for the disabled course. There is a clubhouse where equipment rental is available. With a single ticket, you can enjoy park golf all day long, and local residents receive free benefits.
