Yangpyeong Mulsori-gil is a nature-friendly walking trail representing Yangpyeong County. Stretching from Yangsu Station to Sinwon Station, it consists of a total of 6 courses that are easy for people of all ages to walk. Along each course, visitors can find accommodations as well as various tourist attractions, cultural properties, and experience villages such as Mongyang Memorial Hall, Yangpyeong 5-Day Market, Yongmunsa Temple, Sangwonsa Temple Bronze Bell, and Hoehyeon-ri Donghwa Village. The trail features the Namhan River starting from Taebaeksan Geomnyongso Spring, the Heukcheon-gil with flowing streams, and refreshing breezes, clear streams, and rural scenery unfolding like a painting. With the opening of the Jungang Line subway stations, you can easily pack light and set off from a nearby subway station. In particular, the trail operates a walking certification system where you can collect certification stamps installed at each course in a guidebook and submit it directly to the Mulsori-gil Cooperative office or send it by mail to receive a completion certificate and a small souvenir, gaining popularity among walking travelers through word of mouth. Guidebooks for walking certification are available at local subway stations and major tourist attractions. On weekends, many walking travelers visit Yangpyeong Mulsori-gil to find peace of mind and body and recharge.
