New Seoul Plaza

New Seoul Plaza is a complex shopping town with history and tradition representing Gwacheon. It is located in Byeoryang-dong, Gwacheon-si, Gyeonggi-do. It opened on December 21, 1985, and is a rare department store-style traditional market in the form of a cooperative. The building has a total of 7 floors, housing a variety of establishments including restaurants, general goods, interior design, clothing, crafts, furniture, karaoke, academies, and a cultural education center. Various regular and irregular events involving merchants and customers are held. In 2017, it was selected for the Alley-type Market Development Project organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and completed specialized environmental improvements. It is close to Exit 1 of Government Complex Gwacheon Station on Subway Line 4, offering good public transportation accessibility.
