Why travelers stop here
Tea House Seoha is a specialty tea cafe located in Gaeop-dong, Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do. Run directly by a pottery family in a quiet rural village, it features a wide yard that has been used as a pottery site for over 30 years, complete with a kiln and workshop. All teas are served in handmade teacups. The interior is neat and tidy, and through large windows, guests can enjoy the garden view while quietly sipping tea. Various teas are displayed with descriptions and allow for aroma sampling, so visitors can choose a menu according to their taste. Janam Hwangcha is a yellow tea from Hadong, offering a savory flavor and a deep, subtle sweetness. The milk tea is a popular beverage brewed by blending black teas carefully selected by Seoha. The Seoha tea snack set, including walnut cookies, pine pollen rice cakes, kumquat preserves, dried persimmon jars, and mo yakgwa, all handmade by the owner, is a signature menu that pairs well with tea, and its composition changes slightly with each season. Homemade syrups made with seasonal ingredients and desserts using organic ingredients are also delicious. For hand-drip coffee, guests can choose their own coffee beans. Outdoor seating is also well arranged with a garden. Bowls and tea are also sold. Tea House Seoha does not use disposable cups, so guests must bring a tumbler for takeout. Within 4 km are Yeoju Museum of Art and Yeoju Premium Outlets. ※ Pets are allowed.
