Busan Sikdang

Busan Sikdang is a restaurant located on Bamli-dan-gil in Ilsandong-gu, not in Busan. It is not far from Pungsan Station, making it accessible by public transportation. The menu features various hoe (raw fish) dishes, including hwal-eo mulhoe (live fish cold soup), modum mulhoe (assorted cold raw fish soup), and jeonbok mulhoe (abalone cold soup). The secret to the taste is the house-made special mulhoe seasoning sauce. The mulhoe broth is also made by simmering about 15 different ingredients. In addition, the restaurant offers other dishes such as hoe-deopbap (raw fish over rice), meongge bibimbap (sea squirt bibimbap), hae-mul ramyeon (seafood ramen), and al-bap (fish roe rice). Nearby attractions include Bamgasi Park, Ilsan Bamgasi Choga (traditional thatched house), and the former residence of President Kim Dae-jung.
