Dutayeon is a valley located in Geonsol-ri, Bangsan-myeon, Yanggu-gun, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, developed along a tributary of Suipcheon Stream and situated downstream of Satae-ri. Pyeonghwa Nurigil is located on the route to Mount Geumgang from Dutayeon. As a civilian control zone, access was restricted for over 50 years after the Korean War, but it was opened in 2004. It is a natural ecological trail that preserves pristine nature, serving as a DMZ ecological treasure trove where visitors can enjoy the mystery and beauty of clean nature.
