Samcheok Gasior Gapi Village

Gasior Gapi Village is located in Nogok-myeon, Samcheok-si, in the Maeupgol valley of Sinseodeul, between Eungbongsan (1,270m) and Duribong (1,070m) in the Taebaek Dongnyeong range of the Baekdudaegan. It is a village where wild ginseng, pine mushrooms, medicinal herbs, and wild greens are harvested from pristine areas that retain primeval forests and natural wonders, and used to brew medicinal teas and prepare traditional foods. The clear and clean Maeupcheon stream flows around the village, and it is also known as a village where people of immortal spirit gather to live. It is a village that preserves and offers hands-on experiences of our traditional foods such as wild ginseng and wild ginseng root.
