Jungbong Valley

Jungbong Valley is surrounded by the majestic peaks of Jungbongsan, Cheongoksan, and Dutasan, which rise like a folding screen around the village, attracting tourists and hikers throughout all four seasons. The Jungbongcheon stream, which flows around the valley, gathers pristine valley water from 12 valleys including Keundanggol, Jakdanggol, and Saetdanggol. The spectacular rock formations and rocky cliffs along the stream, combined with the beautiful autumn foliage, have made this a nationally renowned deep-mountain scenic tourist destination.
