Gwangcheonseongul Cave, located at 119 Godae-dong-gil, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, in Daehwa-ri, Daehwa-myeon, Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, has a total scale of 850m, with a main passage of 330m and branch passages of 520m, placing it in the mid-to-upper group among open caves nationwide. In Pyeongchang-gun, it is the third-largest cave after Baengnyonggul Cave (approximately 1.8km) and Seopdonggul Cave (approximately 1.4km).
Tickets can be purchased at the visitor center, which has an exhibition section where visitors can learn how Gwangcheonseongul was formed and what can be seen inside before entering. Safety helmets are available at the cave entrance to the left of the visitor center, and visitors must wear them before entering. Inside the cave, visitors can observe stalagmites, stalactites, columns, and also see bats.
