Why travelers stop here
Located in Dangjinpo 1-ri, Godae-myeon, Dangjin-si, Chungcheongnam-do, Yeongjeon Hwangto Village has long been famous for its high-quality loess soil. The agricultural products grown here are eco-friendly and clean, gaining recent attention, including loess pears, as well as high-quality crops such as Haenaru rice and shiitake mushrooms, which are premium brands of Dangjin-si. It is a typical rural village that cultivates and produces these products. Geographically, it is located at the northernmost tip of Chungcheongnam-do, bordering the sea to the north and west, giving it a maritime climate. With relatively flat terrain, Yeongjeon Village sought various ways to revitalize the stagnant rural economy and attempted to transform into an experiential tourism village using its natural resource of loess. It operates a variety of experience programs, including loess dyeing and pottery making.<br>
