The National Geographic Center Baekkop Village is located approximately 8km from Yongu-eup, Yanggu-gun, Gangwon-do, toward Inje. The village is a typical rural area with Bonghwasan Mountain, the main mountain of Yanggu, as its backdrop, encompassing Changri Deul, the largest granary of Yanggu. It consists of three administrative villages: Dochon-ri, Chang 1-ri, and Chang 2-ri, and is home to the geographical center point of the nation, which has brought renewed attention to the village's value and significance.
