Hwacheon is a leading producer of tomatoes in Korea, and the Tomato Festival is held every July in the Hwaaksan Mountain area. The Tomato Sculpture Park was created to commemorate this festival and to promote the excellence of Hwacheon tomatoes. The park features 16 tomato sculptures created by renowned sculptors. In addition, there are tomato-shaped structures, benches, and photo zones. It is a great place to stop by while traveling in Hwacheon to enjoy rest and souvenir photos.
